second line engineer
We have a new opportunity for an efficient Second Line Engineer to join the IT Team in a newly created position.
The role will primarily focus on assisting the IT Operations Manager on a day-today basis.
Duties will include maintaining and updating all hardware, software and network equipment both remotely and on-site in our London based office and at the underwriting boxes at Lloyd’s.
Experience in any of the following for at least five years is essential. Candidates must have strong literacy skills and be able to produce clear and concise documentation. GSCEs in Maths and English (Minimum grade B or 6).
Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server Operating Systems (2012+), Citrix, VMware, Veeam, Poweshell
The ideal candidate will be able to manage their own workload, have an aptitude towards IT, good organisational skills, as well as being able to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels.
